Trust Me

I say what you want to hear,
I do what you want to be done.
But I don't understand you,
I don't get your messages.

One day you want me to say this,
the next day you don't want to hear it.
One day you want me to do this,
the next day you say 'Stop it'.

You never learn anything from me,
my works are only an extension of you.
Why would you trust me?

I say what I want to say,
I do what I want to do.
I don't need to understand you,
I don't care about your messages.

One day I say this, I don't care if you want to hear it.
The next day I repeat it or say something else.
One day I do this, I don't care if you want it to be done.
The next day I repeat it or do something else.

Sometimes you learn from me,
most of the time I tear you down.
Sometimes I build your life,
most of the time I tear it down.
You can never trust me.

I say what I think you need to hear,
I do what I think needs to be done.
But I don't understand you,
I don't get your messages.

One day I say this, I hope you want to hear it.
The next day I repeat it or say something else.
One day I do this, I hope you want it to be done.
The next day I repeat it or do something else.

Most of the time you learn from me,
sometimes I tear you down.
Most of the time I build your life,
sometimes I tear it down.
You can trust me, but only if you forgive me.

No one here is perfect.
Everyone needs to be forgiven.
Everyone needs to be trusted.
